Issues and Trends in Emergency Management
Dr. Chris Reynolds hosts this weekly program looking at changes and events in emergency management. He and APUS students interview leaders in the field and discusses emergency response. Each episode is 50-60 minutes long. Heard Tuesdays at 8pm ET and Saturdays at 11am ET.
National Institute of Health Research Radio
Health news research updates broadcast weekly. Each “NIH Research Radio” program contains two or three audio reports, plus an extra, in-depth interview. Each episode is 15-25 minutes long designed for a general audience. This program airs on Mondays at 9pm ET, Fridays at 1pm ET and Saturdays at 1pm ET.
Inside the FBI
Neal Schiff hosts “Inside the FBIâ€, a weekly broadcast about news, cases, and operations. One of the keys to successful law enforcement is help from the public. If you see something out of place or know of terrorist or criminal activity, call the police. Call the FBI. Report what you know. Cooperation between law enforcement agencies is important, too. Each episode is 5-10 minutes long. This program airs at various times throughout the broadcast day.
Sports Business Radio
Sports Business Radio focuses on the issues and people directly impacting the world of sports business. Guests on the weekly show offering an insider’s perspective include pro sports league executives and team owners from the NBA, MLB, NFL and other leagues; player agents; NCAA administrators, sports apparel company reps, ad agency executives, media executives and athletes. Each episode is 15-20 minutes long. This program airs on Mondays at 10pm ET, Fridays at 6pm ET and Saturdays at 7pm ET.
At the Races
Dr. Larry Flegle, formerly with Atlanta Motor Speedway, hosts a weekly look at the news from NASCAR, NHRA and the Indy Racing League. Hear what’s up with race teams, race tracks, sponsors and fans. This program airs on Thursdays at 9pm ET and Saturdays at 5pm ET. Each episode is 30 minutes long.
